This was the show everyone had been waiting for, and despite the storm flooding the streets, nothing was going to stop Circus Maximus from giving San Juan one unforgettable night. The excitement had been building for weeks, and as soon as the fans packed the venue, you could feel the excitement in the air. It's not every day Puerto Rico gets a show like this, and people were ready to make the most of it.
The night kicked off with Puerto Rican band Moths, who not only warmed up the crowd but also gave a taste of what's coming next with some new tracks off their upcoming album. The audience didn't hold back, showing Moths undeniable support throughout their set in front of their home crowd.
Then, right before Circus Maximus took the stage, Wesley from Moths and Purple Dimension Productions took the opportunity to make a reveal that got everyone even more hyped by announcing that the next band they're bringing to the island, is SOEN. The crowd response made one thing clear, Puerto Rico is ready for more!
When Circus Maximus finally hit the stage, the energy went through the roof. Opening with 'Architect of Fortune' the Norwegian band had the Puerto Rican crowd hooked from the very first note. Michael Eriksen's powerful vocals were on point, and the band was absolutely locked in. Fans were singing along at
the top of their lungs, fists in the air and completely caught up in the moment. The band energy was incredible, showing off their talent while connecting with the audience in a way that felt genuine.
Even with the rain causing a delay at the start of the night, the vibe inside La Respuesta was incredible. It was as if the storm outside only intensified the energy of the crowd. By the time they were ready to play the last song of the night, and of their Latin American Tour, the fans were not ready to let them go and Circus Maximus didn't disappoint, delivering an unforgettable finale that left everyone wanting more.
This wasn't just another concert, it was a reminder that the island is ready for more nights like this, where metal fans can come together and immerse themselves in the music. The night only proved that there's a hunger for more metal on the island and fans can't wait to see what's in store next.
