R&B-metal shapeshifters sace6 have officially found a new home at Sumerian Records.
The genre-bending duo announced their signing today alongside the release of a brand new single, “ego,” plus an accompanying music video. The track leans into everything that makes sace6 so compelling: crushing low-end, glossy production, and sensual vocals that glide between vulnerability and confrontation.
Lyrically, “ego” explores the discomfort of being tangled up with someone whose intensity never really loosens its grip — even after they’ve already won you over. It’s uneasy, seductive, and heavy in all the right ways.
Speaking on the signing and new release, sace6 shared:
“For us, Sumerian was always more than a label, they were a movement. Growing up, they were a gateway into a world that we were always certain we would find ourselves existing in, side by side with the music and the artists that raised us. Sumerian has been a home to endless icons and we are forever grateful to reside here and begin our own prodigal story. Our latest single, ‘ego,’ evokes the presence of someone assertive beyond necessity—overbearing even after they’ve already won you over, leaving hesitation in their wake.”
You can stream “ego” now and watch the official music video.
sace6 also just wrapped up their tour with Don Broco and Dropout Kings, before hitting the road again starting May 1 on The Pale Moonlight Tour alongside Dayseeker, Northlane, and Wind Walkers.
With a packed touring schedule and more new music on the horizon in 2026, sace6 are stepping into their next era with serious momentum.
